Lead Hazards in Schools: Controlling Lead Hazards from Paint and Drinking Water

This is a recording of a live complimentary webinar hosted by Forensic Analytical Consulting Services, Inc. (FACS) on June 12th, 2024, and was presented by two of FACS' Senior Project Managers, Lydia Feng, MS, CIH, and Steve Long. In this webinar, Lydia and Steve reviewed lead hazards in schools, primarily focusing on lead paint and lead in drinking water. They also covered current California regulations, best practices for reducing lead exposure to children in schools, and the findings from recent mandatory lead testing of drinking water in K-12 schools and childcare centers throughout the state.
