Kundalini cannot be awakened without the undivided concentration on one technique and one SatGuru.  Babaji Gorakshanath has said, that unless the Kundalini flows in the central channel all philosophies are but the babblings of a child.   Now I have spoken.  This does not mean that you should not go to other masters or you should not do.  You can do what you want to do. I'm just telling you the spiritual alchemy for awakening the Divine knowledge within you.  Don't practice too many different types of techniques from different masters.  One master, one sequence of techniques.  Water the seeds of techniques everyday with the practice.  Your practices regular nourishing of the technique and ulitimately the Kundalini shall rise. When we get upon the spiritual path, we have many gurus, many sadhanas and many deities to which we are devoted.
Now as the sadhana increases and focuses itself, we need single minded focus on the Satguru as well, because it is the Satguru who awakens the Kundalini.  It is not another guru or another deity which  awakens the divine energy which gives you inner knowledge.  The divine energy which gives you inner knowledge is called the Kundalini.

As the practioner  progresses upon the spiritual path, he/she becomes more and more concentrated on his SatGuru, which is also the Kundalini, which is also the mind and the devotion.  All these qualities are to be found in the SatGuru and the devotee.  They must correspond exactly between Master and disciple for the Kundalini to awaken.  In the beginning we go to many masters and have many deities and that is fine.  You should go to many masters and a novice and a beginner will go to many deities.  He will go to the Krishna temple, the Ram temple, he will go to the church and he will go to the Mosque.  And he will go to all religions, which is fine.

But as he gets advanced in his spiritual sadhana, he's expected to have one spiritual practice and one Satguru whom he focuses upon during his Kriya yoga practice.  Now, as he advances and he comes more and more in contact either physically, celestially or spiritually with his SatGuru then the SatGuru undertakes to awaken the Kundalini of the disciple.  Now like, you are the disciples who are in direct contact with me.  And I undertake to awaken the divine spiritual energy Kundalini within  you.

Then what do I do to awaken the kundalini?  I first, with your assistance, purify your mind which has to concentrated like a spear to penetrate the spinal canal, the sushumna nadi in the spine.  And for that, to sharpen you mind, I have to purify your mind by giving you the practice of Kriya yoga.

So one aspect of the SatGuru is your purified mind.  Then I have to awaken with you and combine with the mind, the life force energy, which is prana, Chi, the prana.  So the Prana is connected to the purified mind.  Okay?  Then after I connect the prana, and sharpen and purify it, I have to make your breath rythmic, your breath. The inspirato and expirato must be in harmony with the rising pranic kundalini.

And then you need a purification and transformation of the vital fluid within you.  So what do you mean by the vital fluid?  The vital fluid is the transformation of the sexual energy into spiritual energy.

Okay. So when these four factors are purified and sharpened like a spear, then only the kundalini rises with a united mind.

Now.  So in the awakening of your Kundalini, we need a purified mind, a purified pran, a purified breath and purified vital energy.  When these four factors are purified and sharpened to a high degree of concentration, then the Kundalini, with total loyalty to the Satguru, then disciple with total loyalty and single minded purpose to the Satguru, will arise in the sushumna nadi.

And because the Kundalini is mind and sound, it is absolutely necessary to have a single minded purpose to the Satguru.
