A really cool and unusual succulent worth growing is Ceropegia stapeliiformis. The snaking main stem resembles a #stapelia at first sight, however it grows to a much longer length of 50-60 cm and then shows it's most remarkable beautiful flowers shown in this video!

Origin & habitat: South Africa and Swaziland, creeping and twining in and among shrubs, very well camouflaged and difficult to spot.
Fun facts: The creeping stems have a gray/brown-mottled, dark green color, resembling the skin of a snake – hence the common name Serpent   Ceropegia. They also resemble a Stapelia, but grow much longer.

Cultivation: Relatively easy to grow if cultivation tips are followed.
In summer: likes a partially sunny location in the half-shade; water regularly but allow drying of the substrate – both too scarce as well as too frequent watering can induce root rot.
In winter: keep relatively dry and in a cool location,      preferably at around 10 degr C (50 F).
Soil/substrate: needs a well-draining mineral-rich cactus substrate to avoid waterlogged conditions even in the summer. Prefers a mildly alkaline soil (pH 7.5-8.5) .

Special tips & practical advice: Cuttings root best in warm, hot weather and kept in quite dry conditions. Plants that grew very well suddenly „die off“ at their base, near/above the roots (see also the plant in this video) – this is a  normal part of the life cycle of this plant - the stems will form new roots where the plants is in contact with the ground/substrate.

Enjoy and happy growing!!
