From Season 1 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 7: Operation Undersea which originally aired on December 8th, 1954. Walt tells us how he became interested in the undersea world during preparations for filming of Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, the Studio's latest live-action film. Several new film techniques had to be perfected, often under difficult conditions. Winston Hibler tells the story of this unusual film project.
