Rocking W Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride

We visit Rocking W Ranch to talk about their horses.  They have an amusement park in summer with trail rides, zip line, go carts mini golf and more.  But in the winter, it is all about the sleigh rides.

We start watching the unhitched horses come into the coral in newly fallen snow, all jockeying to find their stall and feed.  The close up video really captures their size and beauty.

Owner Dean Nolan talks to us about the business, the horses.  He gives us a history of how he got started as a young man and how the horse business goes back to his grandfather who bought and sold horses and cattle. Dean is still in the business of buying and selling horses and mules all around the country.

We sit back and watch the horse drawn sleighs and draft horse teams riding through the woods.
It is stunningly beautiful.
