Concluding video: Fresh out of nest, SUNDA PYGMY WOODPECKER Chick being fed by parent

After the second chick fledged in the morning, I returned to the vicinity of the nesting tree in the afternoon, to check on the fledglings. One of them was still hanging around, but it was already adept at flying, taking off at will & landing on this tree & that. It was also very agile while hopping about among the foliage. It was attempting to feed on its own too, but of course, good 'ol Mum & Dad were still around to provide food deliveries, for as long as little Junior needed.
The Sunda Pygmy Woodpecker is a common resident in Singapore.
