How to Visit Whistler With Young Kids

Whistler, BC, Canada with kids this summer? Don't be intimidated. There's so much to do! It's one of the best places to travel in Canada! In this episode we head to Whistler but this time we’re bringing the family including Murissa’s two kids under 5 years old. Usually our trips to Whistler include bar and restaurant hopping, lounging on patios with sips in hand, Peak2Peak and biking for hours through the forest lined bike paths. This time we focus on kid friendly Whistler visiting galleries, Whistler Kids, Peak2Peak Gondola experience and more. But not without finding a way to ditch them for one night (sorry kiddos) with a reputable local babysitting service called Babysitting Whistler. Our experience with Alexis was great and the kids loved her. It is pricey but for a solo night out in Whistler after the pandemic…worth it! This visit set a record for bear sightings. We go to Whistler Blackcomb often during the summer months and usually we see one or two while floating safely and quietly over their heads on the Peak2Peak gondola. This time we spotted 5 bears in Whistler Blackcomb! What's your favourite British Columbia place to visit? During the road trip back to Kelowna we take a brief detour to stretch our legs at the Greater Vancouver Zoo. We enjoyed the natural spaces provided for the animals but the bathrooms were something to be desired.
