Andrei "Odoamne" Pascu, former Top laner of H2k and Rogue and currently of GIANTX, is the star of the 360th Episode of 'Reflections'.  This episode is part one of three about Odoamne's career.

Odoamne is one of the longest standing players in European League of Legends history.  His talen began breaking out with the Cloud9 Eclipse Challenger team in 2014 and by 2015 he was in the EU LCS (later to become LEC) playing for H2k Gaming.  In his first year the team finished third twice and went to Worlds.

The following year saw Jankos, FORG1VEN and VandeR recruited and the team seemingly experienced every kind of high and low.  A disappointing fourth place finish in spring saw FORG1VEN exiting the team, going to rivals OG, only for replacement Freeze to have injuries and FORG1VEN be brought back.

The team rallied to again reach the semis of LEC.  Qualifying for Worlds, H2k shocked the world by winning a group featuring EDG and eventually going as far as the semi-finals, thanks in part to a quarter-final draw with wild cards ANX.  Odoamne famously made a name for himself internationally with even some of the world's best Top laners complimenting his play.

2017 was a messy year as H2k, retooled with an all-Korean botlane and Febiven playing Mid, looked to be contenders early but faded when it mattered.  Off-season shenanigans, where a fraudulent leak may have cost Odoamne other options, saw the Romanian end up on a Splyce team which proved surprisingly game but failed to make the cut for Worlds that year.

In 2019 Odo moved to Schalke and along with Upset helped make them one of the best teams by the end of the season.  2020 was quite year as a disasterous first split saw a reunion with FORG1VEN cut short and then in summer the team was down at 1-10 but sparked a "miracle run" to make the play-offs.  In said play-offs they defeated SK Gaming but were then taken down by MAD Lions.

In 2021 Odoamne was over on Rogue and helped them reach their and his first final, where they would heartbreakingly lose in a reverse-sweep to MAD Lions.  Finishing third in summer they would go to Worlds and looked close to making it out of a group of death only to lose the tie breaker to Cloud9.

2022 was the best year of Odoamne's career with a runners-up finish in spring and the seemingly ever elusive LEC title finally grasped by him in the summer.  After a 3:0 sweep of G2 in the summer finals, Odoamne had won the title he had been seeking since entering the league in 2015.  Rogue went to Worlds and there beat DRX (eventual champions), TES (favourites) and were the lone Western team to make the play-offs.

2023 saw Odoamne let go by Rogue and he moved to XL.  Two terrible first splits had XL looking dead and buried but some roster moves allowed them to make a run all the way to the LEC final in Summer, making it the third year in a row Odoamne had played in an LEC final.  Despite this resurgence the team failed to make it to Worlds.

In part one, Odoamne talks about his long time competing, his view on his talent, the kinds of environments he likes to work in, what happened with Splyce and and how Gilius helped spark the "Schalke miracle run".

This interview was recorded on the 8th of January, 2024.
