Filtration and Cooling: Hydraulic systems often include filters to remove contaminants from the hydraulic fluid, ensuring the system operates smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, hydraulic systems may incorporate cooling mechanisms, such as heat exchangers or cooling fans, to maintain the temperature of the hydraulic fluid within acceptable limits.

Overall, a hydraulic system works by utilizing the principle of Pascal's law, which states that when pressure is applied to a confined fluid, it is transmitted equally in all directions.
