Tosh McDonald - The role of socialists in our trade unions

#WorkersPartyGB has taken a clear stand on the economic crisis and on the war.

We were honoured to have Tosh McDonald give a powerful talk at our TU Group meeting yesterday, linking all these issues. What a pity the TUC Congress didn't have more voices for peace today.

On Monday 11 September the Workers Party held a Fringe meeting at the 2023 TUC Congress addressed by former president of ASLEF Tosh McDonald, ASLEF activist Andy Hudd, former Labour MP Chris Williamson and Chaired by the Secretary of the party Trade Union Group, Lauren Wilson.
