Prince Rama Varma gradually and systematically builds up the edifice of the Pallavi of the brilliant thillana in raga Hindolam composed by his guru, Dr.Balamuralikrishna, to a mixed group of music students. I have rarely if ever, seen anybody teach like this and I am extremely happy to share this video with you, which will be useful for music students, musicians, music teachers and music lovers alike.
