If you see an error code flashing on your Samsung range or microwave, don’t panic. Some basic troubleshooting can usually fix the problem!

Often, a simple power cycle can get you back on track. Just turn the power off and then back on, or disconnect from the power source. If the error code still displays, there are some easy steps you can try before calling a technician. If you see t-E-S-t on the range, you need to turn off Demo mode. If you see –dE or –dC, remove the divider from the oven, and put it back in. Give the open door a good push when you see the door error code. Try reconnecting the power when bAd LinE appears, though you may need to contact a pro about this one. Unblock the vent when the C-24 code occurs and let the oven cool.

If the microwave doesn’t turn on, or if it turns on by itself, check the circuit breaker. If the microwave isn’t heating or has stopped working, make sure it isn’t in demo mode, check the kitchen timer and the door, and ensure there’s enough clearance on both sides. Call for service when all else fails. You got this! Watch the video for full details.
