INGREDIENTS:
* Ghee (घी) - 1 tbsp
* Bay leaf (तेजपत्ता) - 1 leaf
* Fennel seeds (सौंफ) - 1/2 tsp
* Star anise (चक्र फूल) - 1
* Cloves (लौंग) - 2
* Black pepper (काली मिर्च) - 4-6
* Cardamom (छोटी इलायची) - 1 small
* Rice (चावल) - 1 bowl
* Water (पानी) - 1+3/4 bowls
* Salt (नमक) - 1 pinch
* Nutmeg (जायफल) - some
* Sugar (चीनी) - 1/2 bowl
* Saffron (केसर) - some
* Food color (फ़ूड कलर) - some drops
* Raisins (किशमिश)
* Dry coconut (सूखा नारियल)
* Cashew nuts (काजू)
* Rock Sugar (मिश्री)

RECIPE:

Soak some Rice for 30 mins and then put some Ghee in a Pressure Cooker, fry some Cashew Nuts and Dry Coconut Slices in it and take out them.
Put some more Ghee in it and then put a Bay Leaf, Fennel Seeds, Star Anise, Cloves, Black Pepper and a Cardamom and turn off the flame and put the soaked Rice in it and turn on the flame and stir the Rice and put some Water, Salt and Nutmeg Powder in it.
Let it to be cooked for 2 mins and then put some Sugar in it. Turn the flame slow and put some Saffron in some warm Milk and put it in the Rice.
Put some drops of Food Colour, some Raisins, fried Cashew Nuts and Coconut Slices and put some Rock Sugar in it.
Cover it with its lid and give it a whistle. Then turn off the flame. Open the Cooker and the Basanti Pulav (Sweet Rice) will get ready to serve.
