Afghan Pop Singer, Aryana Sayeed Recounts Dramatic Escape From Afghanistan as Kabul Fell to Taliban

"I was in Kabul till the last minute, until Taliban took over", said Afghan pop singer Aryana Sayeed. The pop singer who is also a songwriter, TV personality and a women's rights activist was forced to flee Afghanistan as Kabul fell to Taliban on August 15.
Aryana recounts her dramatic escape from Kabul.  She narrates her encounter with a helpless mother at the Kabul airport and how the Taliban has been hunting down Afghans who worked with US-NATO forces or with the former afghan government.
