Teaching is my day job
Teaching is my day job and I'm incredibly fortunate to work at a school that develops such outstanding young people. This video showcases the achievements of my students as they compete in the largest STEM competition in the world. They utilise 3D printing, CNC milling, 3D design, graphic design and many of the other technologies featured on this channel.
Thrust Vector competed in the Development Class, which is reserved for students participating for the first time. We have since discovered that we outscored the Professional Class teams, although I acknowledge the greater complexity found in their cars.

- Bosch for their hosting of the event and fabulous site tours.

- The team's industry mentors including Glenbrook RAAF base, Josh Crawford, Ian Randall, Adam Temesvary, Simscale, Australia Youth Aerospace Association and Lockheed Martin.
- The judges for their expertise, advice and time spent volunteering.
- The parents for supporting their children and encouraging them to do their best.
- Lauren for attending as a female supervising teacher but adding so much more in supporting and coaching the team.
- All of the other teams for being great competitors and displaying good sportsmanship.
- Previous BMGS team Clutch Control, who mentored Thrust Vector and paved the way after finishing 3rd last year.
