- In the last two episodes on Railways Explained we spoke about the German railways and the German high-speed rail system.
Now we talk about the "made in Germany" high-speed trains.
As we mentioned, it all started with the Intercity Experimental test train, and in this video, we tried to show how this train was developed and how it became the ‘ground zero’ for present ICE trains.
Then, we covered all ICE generations ICE 1, ICE 2, ICE 3, and ICE 4, and discussed the history of their development, their technical design, configuration, and other features, traffic performance, etc!
