GBG Visit to NYC Department of Environmental Protection

Students from Ellenville Jr/Sr High School and Kingston High School went on an awesome trip to the NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)! This exciting field trip wasn't just about learning about clean water and discovering their future! ️‍The DEP gave students a behind-the-scenes look at the Kingston facility, showcasing cool jobs and internship opportunities. But the learning didn't stop there! The DEP also led a fun, interactive activity session about the Hudson Valley's water ecosystem and how WE can all keep our planet healthy. This incredible experience sparked a passion for the environment in these students, and we can't wait to collaborate with the NYC DEP again in the future!
