The Donkey and the Horse

এক ব্যবসাদার এর একটি ঘোড়া এবং একটি গাধা ছিল । তিনি গাধার থেকে ঘোড়া কে বেশি ভালোবাসতেন আর ঘোড়ার থেকে গাধার পিঠে বেশি বেশি জিনিস বহন করাতেন । একদিন বাজার থেকে ফেরার সময় গাধার খুব কষ্ট হচ্ছিল । গাধা ঘোড়াকে বলে তার কিছু জিনিস কমিয়ে নেওয়ার জন্য কিন্তু ঘোড়া তাতে রাজি হয় না । এইভাবে হাটতে হাটতে ভারের বোঝা সহ্য করতে না পেরে গাধা মাটিতে পড়ে মারা যায় । এরপর ব্যবসায়ী সমস্ত জিনিসপত্র ঘোড়ার পিঠে চাপিয়ে দেয় , আর মৃত গাধাকেও ঘোড়ার পিঠে চাপিয়ে দেয় । ঘোড়া যেতে যেতে ভাবতে থাকে আগে যদি আমি গাধাকে সাহায্য করতাম তাহলে আজ এই ভারের বোঝা বইতে হত না ।
