Excalibur #13 is the 9th
Excalibur #13 is the 9th chapter in X-Men X of Swords, a story focusing deeply on the Braddock family, Betsy, Brian and Jamie, as they venture to Saturnyne’s Starlight Citadel in the heart of Otherworld in search of their swords. Tini Howard is co-writing the main X of Swords event issues with Jonathan Hickman, so this chapter of Excalibur, released one week before the event’s middle Stasis chapter, is given extra weight.

This is a big issue for Tini Howard. You have Fans who are rapturous about Excalibur as a series, those who can't stand it, and then obviously fans like myself who have enjoyed moments but never really felt it take off. As much as I like recent Howard's recent works on books like Thanos and Strikeforce, I keep feeling that I enjoy hearing Howard talk about her idea of what Excalibur is more than the comic itself.
