Tune-Up Turns Up A Problem - Same One That Killed Millions Of Cars Back In The Day

Yesterday we gave the 318 in our 65 Barracuda a basic tune up and today when we went to.make our fine adjustments, we found that the engine has a problem with it's intake manifold that was extremely common back in the days of carbureted engines  One that led millions of them to run terribly, guzzle tons of gas and end up meeting an early demise at the scrap yard.
 Here's what we found, and what the fix is.
