In this video, I share my pattern for cute, simple crochet pocket pals. These customizable critters are always happy to travel around with you, bringing smiles and fun wherever you go! These are great stash buster projects and are very fast to make. They'd make cute party favors or adorable companions. They're also very good listeners. Here is my pattern:
Round 1: 6 SC in Magic Ring (6)
Round 2: Inc in each st (12)
Round 3: [1SC, 1 Inc] x6 (18)
Round 4: SC BLO in each st (18)
Round 5-10: SC in each st (18)
Finish off, leaving a long tail
Add safety eyes and embroider a mouth, if desired. Stuff.
Ears (Make 2) 6 SC in Magic Ring, join with a sl st into first st. f/o
Pin ears in the opening, sew across (with tail), securing the ears into the seam as you go.
Arms (Make 2) ch 14, f/o
Legs (Make 2) ch 18, f/o
Sew arms and legs to the body (wherever you think they're cutest). Tie an extra knot at the end of each arm and leg, cut off excess yarn.
Give your pocket pal lots of love.
