Ykeme gives you a brief break down of the history of the Orishas and some of the ones that are never mentioned. The yoruba deities are old but are not the oldest in origin yet they are very popluar in history. There are over 400 orishas however only a few are given much attention, over the next few days we are going to look at the different ones to get a better understanding of them and learn how to develop relationships with them.
