In the company of hunting outfitter Larno Rens, Byron has a two-day hunt for bushbuck on the cards. As always with African hunting, though, there's more than one species available, and the boys warm up with some hyrax and baboon hunting. But time is soon running out to get the plainsgame species they came for, and in the failing light on the last day of hunting, Byron will only get one chance.
Back at home, regular foxer and deer stalker Gary Green has a challenge of a different kind ahead of him: taking his DSC1 test. With Jelen Deer Services our hosts for the occasion, we find out just what the qualification entails, and how to make sure you pass it.
