TSA screens a record 2.99 million in a single day

The number of air travelers moving through U.S. airports hit a record Sunday after the TSA says it screened nearly 3 million people. The agency forecasts it will break the 3 million barrier on Friday June 28 when people get an early start on Fourth of July travel.
