Tyler "Potato Ty" Heppell is a 5th generation potato farmer who returned to his roots after pursuing a career in sales. He is now managing the second largest potato farm in British Columbia, producing millions of pounds of potatoes per year. He also spends his time advocating for the prot3ection of at-risk farmland in Canada and reducing food waste through initiatives like the "Ugly Potato Day", which last year attracted over 4,000 people out to his farm to participate.
