$ 100 dollor spanish 1916 7mm Mauser 7x57

This is a Mauser 93 action in 7x57 or 7MM Mauser  with a 22 inch barrel. As you can see the stock had been cut off and had been poorly covered with some type of stain. This was a scrubbed of its markings and crest other than a R on the top of the barrel. My plan is to use this as a hunting rifle for the wife for next years fall season. the 7mm is a great hunting round and is still favored as a flat shooting hard hitting choice in many countries for boar to red deer. My current plan is to see how well I can get it to shoot then if its not what I want I will end up re-barreling it back in 7X57. as of right now I'm getting little over 2 inch some are at 3 inch groups with my reloads id like to see that come down to 1.5 or under for hunting on my farm in Mo with shots ranging from 10 to 220 yards most at 50 to 90 yards.  so you should see some more videos of this and others as I do my winter load testing.
