How to tell if your Megalodon tooth is real or fake

Last year we started collecting megalodon teeth after my son saw and held his first big tooth in Exmouth. We got hooked instantly and ended up with a bunch of teeth, although they are not super rare they are millions of years old and can be difficult to find so they do have a decent price tag on them. The last thing you want to be doing is giving someone random hundreds or even thousands of dollars and not be getting what you were told you were getting. These are just some ways of being able to separate the real teeth and the fake teeth, please be careful and do your own research.
