QUICK way to check for BENT camshaft

Before you rebuild and automotive head do you want to make sure that your camshaft runs nice and smooth and there’s no bend that will bind or make friction. One way that I can quickly verify this is to put everything together without the lifters and spinet by hand and feel for any discrepancies. If the shaft is bent you’ll feel a tight spot in a loose spot. I just want to make sure that everything is smooth and tight.
