Screed from A to Z. Smooth floor. The subtleties of work. All stages.
For a long time I promised to shoot in detail the process of pouring the screed from A to Z. And today I publish the promised video, where I will show in detail all the stages of work, I will share the subtleties of work that will help you avoid popular mistakes and make an even floor.

Consider the Screed from A to Z in stages:
1. Cleaning and dusting with a vacuum cleaner. Do not neglect this stage, the screed will peel off from dust and debris. 0:50
2. Primer. This reduces the absorbency of the base, which is important for the screed. It is applied with a roller or spray gun. 1:09
3. Finding the highest point. The laser axial builder will come in very handy. We put the laser at a height of 1 m, then with a tape measure we pass throughout the room, so we find the highest point. 2:23
4 Damper tape (coastal). We mount with silicone or a pistol around the perimeter and go around all existing pipes. This subtlety will help compensate for linear expansion, improve noise insulation. 2:26.
5. Selection and layout of beacons. 3:18
6. Installation of beacons. The easiest option: we install beacons using a laser level and a square. 3:58.
7. The choice of material for the screed. One of the most important stages, because the quality of the screed directly depends on the quality of the material. None of the subtleties of work and experience will help if you choose a bad material. 5:09
8. Contact layer and screed filling. Apply the contact layer with a roller. We tighten the screed using a homemade vibrating screed. 6:38
9. Undercutting the screed. To get a flat floor as a result, we cut the screed until it has gained its strength. 9:00
