Better Handling. If you have an S550 GT without the Performance Pack, but want the suspension upgrades from the optional package, this Ford Racing Strut Tower Brace is for you. It provides extra support to the strut towers, stiffening up the front end. As a direct result, the tire contact patches will be maintained better, which in turn boosts your handling performance, as well as braking and acceleration. Since this keeps the strut towers parallel at all times, you shouldn't experience any understeer. Again, this Ford Racing Strut Tower Brace is for all 2015 to 2017 Ford Mustang GTs that don’t' have the optional Performance Pack already installed. Strong Build. This strut tower brace is triangular, so it ties in the firewall as well as the strut towers, adding more stiffness. Made of stainless steel and with a parallel beam construction, this brace is exceptionally strong. A black powder coat finish makes it present well, but also guards against damage and seals out corrosion. The Ford Racing logo is featured in the middle on a stainless steel polished plate. Simple Setup. This is an easy job pretty much anyone can successfully complete in their driveway or garage. Plan on it taking about an hour of your time. You do need a torque wrench, plus sockets and a ratchet.
