Avoid the crowds of Tokyo
Avoid the crowds of Tokyo and Kyoto and consider visiting Niigata prefecture for next spring 🌸
Although we were a little late for the cherry blossoms this year (we saw some though!), Niigata is packed with everything Japan has to offer: the best food, culture, history, events, and more. All within a quick ride on the bullet train from Tokyo!
Niigata can be combined with the nearby Noto Peninsula (The perfect side trip from Kanazawa -...), Kanazawa, Takayama (Hida Takayama - retro vibes, hidden g...), or Yamanaka Onsen (Cozy hot spring town in the Japanese ...).
