Royal Navy Sailor School sets sail aboard HMS Raleigh, one of the oldest institutions at the heart of navy training. This emotional yet heart-warming documentary series features a group of young recruits as they are put through an intense 10-week training course.

This diverse group of young men and women, with their sights set on a navy career, are pushed to the limit as they attempt to join this top establishment. Through a combination of fixed rig cameras and crews, the series captures their experiences and the gruelling process they endure to in order to survive and pass as fully qualified ship mates.

This episode focuses on the women of Cornwell Division as they go through exactly the same training as the men, coming up against HMS Raleigh's toughest physical test in the notorious `Stretcher Run'. Seventeen-year-old recruit Rachel sees the Navy as her big chance to turn things around and make a new life for herself, while 19-year-old Thailand-born Saowalak inadvertently breaks Raleigh's `no touch' rule after kissing her boyfriend on base and finds her career left hanging by a thread.
