Taralli is one of the most iconic and most consumed foods in Puglia. These salty and crunchy mini bagels work well as a snack at all times of the day. They are also perfect to serve with wine or cocktails as an aperitif, especially if accompanied by cheese and cold cuts or in a bread basket.
  Taralli are so famous in Italy and abroad that they have soon established themselves as a "Prodotto Agroalimentare Tradizionale" (Traditional Italian Agri-Food Product)
  In this recipe I show you a version with wine, olive oil and Anise seeds, although they are more commonly made with fennel seeds. They are also made with red chili flakes, black pepper, rosemary or onions.

Ingredients:
250 gr all-purpose flour
70 gr olive oil
100 ml dry white wine
1 tsp of salt (6 gr)
1 tsp fennel or anise seeds
