How to Convert Image Based PDF Files or Images to Editable Text

If you have a PDF file that was a scan of text and not something you can highlight to copy and paste into another document, you will then need to use some type of OCR process to convert that image to editable text. You can use a free online method to upload your PDF file, and have it converted to a Word document, Excel spreadsheet or text file that you can then download. This will also work with image files that have text. Just be careful when uploading any confidential information because you never know what site will do with your files.
