Google Pixel 9, 9 Pro & 9 Pro XL | What To Expect | TSW201

Google's 2024 flagship phone duo is actually a trio - the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and a fresh new model, the Pixel 9 Pro XL. That's because the Pixel 9 Pro has shrunk in size, so it's almost the same compact smartphone as the regular version. But how will these Google blowers stack up for camera tech, gaming smarts etc? Here's an early look at those leaks ahead of the official launch in October 2024.

It seems the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro will sport a similar camera setup to the 8 and 8 Pro. I.e. the standard model will have a dual lens arrangement with an ultra-wide sensor, while the Pixel 9 Pro throws in a bonus telephoto lens. Meanwhile the Pixel 9 Pro XL will apparently upgrade that zoom option, if the latest leaks are to be believed.

We've also seen benchmark results for the Tensor G4 which powers all four new Google phones. This could be the last series of Pixel smartphones where Samsung collaborates on that chipset.
