To those who do not know of the history of the Pak-A-Punch, by the way... it is the brainchild of Ricky Lee King (and his collaborator Rob Robinson, both from Richmond, VA) who was the main individual behind A-1 Security Manufacturing.  With multiple patents to his name, his contribution to the locksmithing world was immense and his passing leaves a significant void in our industry.

None of us could likely ever replace the Pak-A-Punch, but this small set of guides that attach to the Lishi Key Cutter helps us come close, perhaps!  Many thanks to ByteStealer of https://3dlocksport.com for the help with bringing this design to life and getting the first prints made while we tested and refined it!  👍😁👍

The original Pak-A-Punch patent details are as follows, if you're curious...

"Hand Held Device For Code Cutting Key Blanks"

United States Patent #5387062
Filed: Nov 29, 1993
Issued: Feb 7, 1995

Application #8/158206

Inventors...
Ricky L. King (Richmond, VA)
Robert F. Robinson (Richmond, VA)

A portable hand-held device for code cutting notches in a key blank by a punching mechanism permits quick and easy modification to accommodate key blanks of different configurations and keys requiring different notch depth, notch spacing and notch angle.  A key-gripping vise slidably held by a carriage moves transversely to the punch to achieve proper notch spacing.  The carriage is controllably moved to different heights above the punch by detents in a circular drum, whereby the depth of the notch is determined.  The punch rod and matching anvil may be replaced to achieve a different notch angle.
