In this video, I demonstrate how to sand the edge of a wood floor with an edge disk sander.

This is by far the fastest and highest quality way to sand the edges of the floor (those hand held belt sanders can make a mess). It has the power to remove paint, varnish and even nail heads, while also being engineered in such a way to create a nice smooth finish. You can of course go round the edges of the floor after with a rotex to get an even smoother finish if you want to.
