Picking Up My West Coast Chopper From Jesse James | Kodiak Adventure

On July 21, 2023, I embarked on a journey to Austin Texas to meet my friend Jesse and pickup the bike he had built for me over the past 2 years. The trip was filled with anticipation and excitement as I looked forward to both the flight to Austin as well as seeing my friend and finally taking delivery of my bike. The journey itself was marked by moments of reflection and a sense of adventure, as I flew the longest distance I’ve gone in the Kodiak to acquire something meaningful and unique. The bike, a symbol of craftsmanship and friendship, now stands as a cherished reminder of this memorable time in my life.

If you told me 10 years ago I'd be flying my West Coast Chopper home in my own airplane as a commercial pilot I'd say you read someone else's future. You never really know what life will throw at you, but I can tell you that working hard and putting your focus and energy on the positive will take you places you may not have dreamed about. So many people tell me I’m crazy and misunderstand me.  I just do things my way and that’s ok that its different from your way. Oh ya, and surround yourself with really good people. Get rid of the negatives and the losers in your life.
