How Good is The 2024 Chevy Trax RS on a Roadtrip? /// Allcarnews

With the average new vehicle price in the US cresting over $40k and expensive electrified vehicles swarming into the toxic automotive market, it’s about time we get some cheaper offerings for the everyday human. This explains the mass success of the 2024 Chevy Trax! My 2RS trim tester from @Chevy came in pretty much fully loaded at around $27k

🏁 @Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: Under the hood is a 1.2L Turbo 3 cylinder making 137HP and 162 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels only through a 6-speed auto. Even with less power than the old Trax, the 2024 model is a second faster to 60MPH (8.6sec) and more fuel efficient. 🏁

The design is surprisingly handsome and inspired by the Blazer SUV. Outside are split LED lights with a signature Chevy bowtie. Inside comes with wireless CarPlay, a digital dash and this tester was optioned with adaptive cruise, a sunroof, wireless charger and more!

Any issues? Wireless CarPlay disconnected a few times, the TPMS system freaked out 2x and fuel economy was good around 30MPG over 500miles but could be even better. Nonetheless it is a huge win for economy cars and is a must consider over rivals!
