Commander Coil Dissection

In reading a post on mytreasurespot.com there was mention of the inner workings of a Commander Coil, the stock coil from Minelab. I had an old 11" DD coil that had been defunct for a couple years so I decided to take it apart and see what I could find. Maybe to fix something obvious that might be broken, but more so just to familiarize myself with the components. Here are the results.
