"And I wish to assure all the patients, their relatives and all our countrymen and women that the government will do everything possible to ensure that the injured are restored to their normal health. The expenses involved in treatment are not a consideration. Human lives are very important and our government will do all it can to ensure that these patients come back to their normal life."

11. SOUNDBITE (English) Anbumani Ramadoss, Indian Health Minister:
"About 214 patients were admitted in total, and out of that about 56 were brought dead and six more died in the hospitals. I'm saying in AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), Safdarjung, LHMC (Lady Hardinge medical College) and RML (Ram Manohar Lohia) hospitals, all four hospitals put together, the numbers and about 77 patients are still there admitted and out of that, about 27 are little critical and about 105 patients have been discharged."

STORYLINE
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has visited New Delhi's Safdarjung hospital where some of the injured from the explosions that hit New Delhi were taken.
Relatives of the blasts' victims shouted abuse at Singh as he left the hospital on Sunday.
"I wish to assure all the patients, their relatives and all our countrymen and women that the government will do everything possible to ensure that the injured are restored to their normal health", Singh told reporters.
Police said the three blasts killed at least 59 people and wounded 210 others, several seriously.
