Welcome to our showroom, where innovation meets efficiency. Today, we're going to demonstrate how to create a propeller plastic part using polypropylene with our state-of-the-art Nexa3D printers and the mighty APSX-PIM injection machine.

Desktop injection molding machines are transforming the plastic manufacturing landscape, making high-quality, precise plastic part production accessible to businesses and individuals alike. These compact, cost-effective, and user-friendly machines offer a range of benefits that are revolutionizing the industry.

With the potential to streamline prototyping, small-batch production, and product development, desktop injection molding machines are poised to have a significant impact on the way plastic parts are designed and produced.

We start by printing the molds using the xMOLD material.

After printing, we mount the ceramic insert onto the MUD base, specifically designed for our injection machine. Then, we insert the ejector pin and install the xMOLD.

Install the left side of the MUD base first.

Then, install the right side. Then adjust the clamp switch for the best ejection position.

Hit the RUN button to start the injection cycle. It may take about 90 seconds, with approximately 45 seconds dedicated to cooling.

The 3D printed molds take longer to cool down compared to traditional methods.

At the end of the cycle, manually pull the xMOLD from the base.

Separate the halves to reveal the yellow propeller inside.

The idea behind this process is to fine-tune the part design until you find the optimum one. And the best part? It allows for quick and cost-effective iterations. The alternative traditional option is to machine a metal mold for each iteration, which is time-consuming, hard, and expensive.

Visit our showroom today to witness this revolutionary process firsthand. See it to believe it.
