When I first had Wren I was obsessed with buying lots of different baby skin care to protect her delicate baby skin. but actually I found out that you just need a few reliable products and that will see you through. My most recent a discovery has been La Roche-Posay Baby skin care collection. Not only has it been recommended by dermatologists, it’s also been specifically developed for babies’ sensitive and delicate skin. First off: Baby Bath time Baby bath products with mountains of bubbles are great fun but I found they actually dried out Wren’s skin quite a lot. So instead I switched to Lipikar Syndet AP+ wash which is fab because it’s ultra-gentle, doesn’t contain any soap so it doesn’t dry her skin dry out. So I love that one! Post-bath: After she comes out of the bath, I slather on some Lipikar Baume AP+ baby lotion and that’s lovely because it makes her skin super soft and it dries in seconds, so I can put her pyjamas straight on afterwards. Nappy time: As my everyday nappy cream I use the Cicaplast Baume B5 , which is great because it can be used on nappy rash and also it protects her little bottom. This really is my must-have, I really can’t recommend this one enough! Oh my gosh the Thermal Spring Water is a multi-tasking wonder. When Wren had heat rash recently I didn’t know what to do, so I misted this all over her back and it calmed the skin right down. It’s also great for sticky fingers when there’s no running water close by, and I often use it as my cleanser. The whole family are obsessed! Sun Protection: Baby sun protection is very important. I know Dermatologists always advise to keep your baby out of direct sunlight, but they need to be protected even in the shade. Every mum I’ve recommended the Anthelios Baby Sun Cream to has absolutely loved it. It’s a summer time essential. Hope you found this useful. Thanks for watching!
