Epiphone 1956 Les Paul Standard Goldtop - The Guitar Bay

Back in the Bay with another item from Emil. This time an Epiphone 1956 Les Paul Standard Pro Goldtop

He bought the guitar second hand but in new condition for €600 here in Europe . The 1956 Les Paul Standard Pro Ebony, by the Gibson subsidiary Epiphone, presents an electric guitar that offers the sound and feel of a true 1956 Les Paul, paired with modern details at an unbelievably tempting price / performance ratio. For example, the guitar has the classic mahogany construction, while Epiphone P-90 Pro pickups in Soapbar covers provide authentic vintage sounds.

We thought it would be nice to hear this guitar through Takis’ 12 TF400 Hybrid Tube Amp with a 12 inch HH Invader Speaker. This is being mic'd with an SM58.

Danny plays the guitar through the trusty Laney LC50 mic'd with an SM57

All tones are coming from the above mentioned amps/mic's plus the Zoom H6 Stereo room mic.
