Books on a music stand - how to keep them open and prevent them from falling off.

Placing books on a music stand and keeping them open is a problem for many musicians. Books with spines that prevent them from staying open is very frustrating when studying music. Many music books are quite thick and although many modern music stands are able to accommodate a large amount of music, it is often difficult to stop the books from closing and remaining flat when trying to read music.

This video shows my simple solution to this problem, which has been used on my music stand for many years with my guitar students.
