This time we're taking the
This time we're taking the ICE 4 to the Franconian metropolis of Nuremberg in the driver's cab! The journey takes us along the Erfurt - Unterleiterbach high-speed line, which is part of the German Unity Transport Project. There are several changes in the weather on the VDE 8, especially behind the tunnel exits. Shortly after crossing the state border between Thuringia and Bavaria, the weather becomes noticeably calmer. The uninterrupted cloud cover remains, but visibility is no longer obscured by the rain. After passing through Fürth's main station towards the end of the journey, we are already on the home stretch before Nuremberg.
