A taste of the Winelands at The Jordan Restaurant with Marthinus Ferreira.
Marthinus Ferreira recently took over the management of The Jordan Restaurant from Chef George Jardine. Ferreira has significantly contributed to the South African food scene, drawing on his childhood favourites and international influences to create innovative gastronomic experiences. He has worked with renowned chefs such as Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal.
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Jordan Restaurant during our visit to the Estate! Standout starters including the unique and delicious Bobotie Tartar and the perfectly cooked Butter Poached Prawn, set the stage for a memorable meal. Main course highlights included the Sous Vide Springbok Loin and the Griled Kuruman Sirloin, which were both packed full of flavour and expertly prepared. We managed to save room for dessert, and the Franck’s Chocolate Marquise was the perfect sweet ending to our meal.
