Is it time for Arsenal and Elneny to part ways?":
Gooners, with Mohamed Elneny attracting interest from Turkish clubs, is it time for him and Arsenal to part ways?
At 31, Elneny has become a fringe player at Arsenal, limited to cup games and filling in for injuries.
With new midfield signings in summer, Elneny has fallen down the pecking order and his contract is up this year.
For Elneny, a move to Turkey makes sense to get more game time as he enters his mid-30s.
And for Arsenal, selling Elneny would free up squad space and some of the wage bill.
He's given good service to the club but first-team opportunities will now be limited.
Elneny says he's happy at Arsenal but realistically, moving on is best for all parties.
Arsenal won't get a huge fee, but it's time we parted ways whether now or the summer.
