New Zealand Chamois

Chamois relaxing in the Southern Alps of New Zealand.
I had climbed for a couple of hours to get close to where I knew a group of Chamois were living. Over the course of the day multiple animals were observed going about their daily lives. Great to be in a position to watch animals behaving naturally.
