Latest ET-8550 firmware update has a fix to reduce unwanted print marking - install on your printer

A new firmware update for the Epson ET-8550 includes fixes for potential marking of prints. This is where the feed roller grips paper too strongly. It most likely does not address indentations left by internal rollers on some art papers

Updating firmware is usually a god idea and rarely do the release notes come with any note addressing issues fixed.
